Appointment of Conferees on H.R. 3295, Help America Vote Act of 2001
House of Representatives

On May 16, 2002, the House of Representatives named 21 members from 5 House committees to the conference committee on H.R. 3295, the election reform bill. In addition, the House instructed conferees to insist on the House bill's $400 million buyout of punch card machines and the population-based formula for allocating federal election reform funds.
