Given what happened in the 2000 presidential election, Florida is likely to be the most scrutinized state in the country on election day 2002. Since 2000 the state has enacted a number of reforms to the system which now must be put into practice. At the same time, voter advocacy organizations and election administrators are working hard to prepare for any problems that may arise.
