Officials Urge Poll Reforms

The election process could be improved by using touch-screen voting technology, getting more funds to train precinct workers and modifying "motor voter" registration, a reform panel was told Thursday.

The National Commission on Federal Election Reform received testimony at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, the second of four hearings the panel is holding across the country to find ways to improve the accuracy and fairness of the election process.
