Presidents Carter
and Ford are honorary co-chairs of the Commission, and former White House Counsel
Lloyd Cutler and former House Minority Leader Robert Michel are co-chairs.
In addition, Senator Slade Gorton and Kathleen Sullivan, dean of Stanford Law
School, are vice-chairs. The rest of the Commission membership is comprised of
some of the most distinguished policymakers, constitutional and election lawyers,
and scholars in the country. The Commission includes the following members:
